My journey in beauty began at the tender age of 4, refusing to leave the house without lipstick. Not much has changed. A good 40 something years later and I am as captivated and passionate about changing the face of beauty. My career for the past 30 years as a professional master makeup artist, has found me face to face with thousands of women and up close and personal with their skin. I have encountered all types of skin problems and concerns and my greatest joy is being able to help a woman effectively cover up and conceal these concerns and restore some of their confidence and dignity while enhancing their natural beauty.
My own journey in beauty was boosted when I was taken from backstage to centre stage as a title holder of the Mrs Universe South Africa. This journey at the age of 40 was a pivotal point of pressing into all I had learnt through my expansive career and feeling deeply propelled to give back even more to every woman I encountered. The next season of my beauty journey had begun and SKIN by Aldytha was born.
Driven by a message of inner and outer beauty and using healthy means to achieve it, became my focus for every women. I truly do believe that every woman deserves to feel completely satisfied in the skin they are living in. I sought out and engaged with the most amazing pharmacist who specialised in prescription skin care as well as pharmaceutical and botanical active ingredients. She is a working mom and wife and a forerunner in her sphere of influence. Together the range was crafted and born. A new face in beauty had begun.
